Launched in April 2016, Droppa is an on-demand delivery service that makes it safer and easier to move office or household goods and furniture. Once you’ve booked a Droppa delivery, you will be able to track your goods throughout the entire journey, from pick up to drop off! Our drivers go through a vigorous screening and training process where all checks are conducted and drivers are taught how to handle goods in transit.
Established by entrepreneur and tech pioneer, Khathutshelo Mufamadi, Droppa is the brainchild of this 31-year-old founder and director. Droppa will be opening for express delivery services all across the country, a service that was previously limited. With a turnaround time of 24 to 72 hours, customers may book an Express delivery from anywhere in South Africa. Droppa makes it easier and safer to transport goods, allowing customers to access its screened drivers via its website and mobile app. Droppa Retail, a new feature on the Droppa online platform aims to make it easier for retailers to have goods delivered to the homes of customers immediately after purchase. Retailers can now register with Droppa and add this value added to their supply chain.
Until now only available in Gauteng, the partnership with SkyNet offers this service countrywide. The partnership will see Droppa penetrate the national logistics market, while it also aims to drive an increase in skill sets for business communication through technological development to ensure constant and uninterrupted two-way communication channels as well as feedback. Part of the Droppa business development plan is to create a booking management system customised per retail sector.
Users can access the service via mobile app or the Droppa website https://www.droppa.co.za/
